How we started

In 2012, Ker Yee, CEO, and Tian Poh, COO, embarked on their innovation journey together at Wangi, focusing on optical coating and nano-scale patterning technology. After Wangi’s successful exit in 2019, Ker Yee seized the unique opportunity to reborn his family’s business legacy. Driven by their passion for collaborative innovation and deep technology manufacturing, Ker Yee and Tian Poh founded Winovus.

With a bold mission to ignite transformative change in the manufacturing ecosystem, Winovus is more than just a manufacturer—it’s a movement. We are customer-first and people-centric, leveraging cutting-edge nano-fabrication to revolutionise microfluidic chips and bioMEMS technology while championing sustainable practices.

The Winovus Name:

Winovus merges “Win” with “Novus”—a Latin word meaning new, innovative, and exceptional. Our brand embodies a bold and extraordinary journey driven by the desire to break new ground in technology and innovation.

The Red Dot:

Founded in Singapore—affectionately known as “the little red dot”—Winovus draws inspiration from the nation’s resilience and transformative journey. The red dot in our logo serves as a beacon of innovation and sustainability, symbolising our unwavering commitment to creating a brighter future.

The Red Columns:
The red columns in our logo represent our nanostructured mold, bridging the letters “i” for innovation and “s” for science. This design element captures our mission to advance science through innovative microarrays, showcasing our dedication to precision and progress.
The Curve:
The rounded red curve reflects our resilience and dynamic culture—like a roly-poly toy or sea buoy, it symbolises our ability to bounce back from challenges with creativity and optimism. At Winovus, we thrive on a vibrant and playful approach, fostering teamwork and a spirit of joy in everything we do.
